Later served as the chief Conductor of the Orchestre de la Societe des Concerts du Conservatoire. Signed CDV or carte de visite photograph, with his signature on the bottom of the front side, dated in Paris in 1895. An original photo by Nadar, Paris, size is 2. 5 x 4 inches, small bullet hole at top, otherwise in excellent condition.
