It Starts with Us

It Starts with Us picks up the story where It Ends with Us left off. The novel follows Lily Bloom, who is now moving on from her tumultuous past and the complicated relationship with her ex-husband, Ryle Kincaid. After the events that took place in the first book, Lily is starting to rebuild her life, with a renewed sense of independence and purpose. However, her past is never too far behind.

The book introduces a new romantic development between Lily and Atlas Corrigan, a character who was a significant part of Lily’s past. As their connection deepens, they both navigate the complexities of rekindling their relationship while facing the challenges that come with moving on from previous trauma. The novel explores themes of healing, self-discovery, forgiveness, and finding love again after hardship.

With It Starts with Us, Colleen Hoover offers a story of hope and second chances, giving fans a deeper look into Lily and Atlas’s future while providing closure to the emotional arc that began in It Ends with Us.
