Who can sell

Sellers apply with shop details, their name and CNIC number, a bank account and the courier they will use. Ketab.pk staff review each application and may ask for more information. Only approved sellers can list books.

Shipping

You ship every order with your own courier. Accept new orders within 24 hours, and enter the courier and tracking number when you ship; a package cannot be marked shipped without a tracking number.

Commission

Ketab.pk earns commission only on delivered orders. Current rates: new books 10%, used books 15%, e-books 5%, stationery 10%. The rate is fixed when the order is placed. Ketab.pk may agree a different rate with a particular seller. When a return is accepted after an order was invoiced, the commission is credited back on a later invoice.

Invoices

Commission is invoiced weekly, every Monday, for orders delivered the previous week. An invoice is due 10 days after it is issued. We send reminders before and after the due date. If an invoice is still unpaid 10 days after its due date, your listings are paused and hidden from customers until you pay.

Customer problems

If a customer reports a problem or requests a return, reply within 3 days. If you and the customer disagree, Ketab.pk staff decide. Repeated problems can lead to a shop being paused or suspended.

E-books

E-book payment goes directly from the buyer to you. Confirm payment in Seller Centre once you receive it so the buyer can download. Commission on e-books applies when the sale is completed.
