How delivery works

Ketab.pk is a marketplace. Every seller ships their own books with their own courier, so one order can arrive as several packages. Each package has its own tracking number, which the seller adds when they ship. The seller's usual delivery time is shown on the book page before you order.

Sellers are expected to accept a new order within 24 hours. If a seller cannot fulfil a package they cancel it and you pay nothing.

Courier charges

The courier charge is set by each seller and shown with their offer. You pay it to the courier, in cash, together with the price of the books, when the package arrives.

Cash on delivery

Physical books are paid for in cash on delivery only. A first order is limited to Rs 10,000 until you have had a package delivered, and up to 3 orders per day can be placed from one mobile number. After 3 failed deliveries within 90 days, cash on delivery is switched off for that number.

Wrong or damaged books

Report a problem within 7 days of delivery from Account > Orders: wrong book, damaged, not as described, missing pages or other. The seller is asked to reply within 3 days. If you and the seller do not agree, Ketab.pk staff decide the outcome.

Returns and refunds

A return can be requested within 7 days of delivery. The seller accepts or rejects it, and must give a reason when rejecting. Ketab.pk does not hold your payment because you pay the courier; when a refund is agreed it is paid by the seller. If you do not receive it, contact Ketab.pk support.

E-books

E-books are paid directly to the seller and downloaded from Account > My e-books once the seller confirms payment.
