The Fourth Option: the Fourth Option (Book 1)

When the system fails, there’s one final option.

#1 New York Times bestselling author Jack Carr launches a blistering new thriller series co-written with New York Times bestseller M.P. Woodward.

Former Navy SEAL and CIA operative Chris Walker has lost faith in everything he once served. On the brink of ending his life, a call pulls him back: the widow of a fallen teammate needs help. Her son is dead – another victim of the opioid crisis – and she wants justice.

What Walker uncovers is far bigger than one tragedy. Drawn into a deep-rooted conspiracy, he’s forced to confront the very institutions he once swore to defend.

With driven FBI agent Jarrett Stanton closing in, Walker goes off-grid. Traveling with his fiercely loyal Belgian Malinois and a hidden cache of weapons, he becomes judge, jury, and executioner – exposing corruption and delivering a brutal, long-forgotten brand of justice.

In the spirit of classic ‘stranger comes to town’ Westerns, this is a modern vigilante story –lean, relentless, and explosive.

A new kind of hero is here.

Justice is coming.
