Seerat Encyclopedia – 6 Volume Set (Jadid Edition)

The Seerat Encyclopedia 6 Volume Set (Jadid Edition) is Darussalam's updated, condensed treatment of the Prophet Muhammad's ﷺ life, published in Urdu. It walks through the history and geography of pre-Islamic Arabia, the social and religious conditions the Prophet ﷺ was born into, and the major events of his ﷺ mission, drawn together into six volumes rather than the original eleven.

Jadid Edition — what makes it different

Darussalam also publishes the original Seerat Encyclopedia 11 Books (Complete Set), and the two are easy to mix up. This 6 Volume Jadid Edition is the newer, re-edited version of the same research — restructured into six volumes so a reader gets the full Seerah without committing to eleven separate books. If you specifically want the original 11-volume edition, that's a separate listing; this page is for the 6-volume set only.

Who this set is for

It suits readers who want a complete, serious Seerah reference in Urdu for home study, and it works well as a gift for a family library or a madrasah collection. Six matching hardcover volumes also display better on a shelf than a loose stack of individually-bought books.

If six volumes is more than you're after right now, Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum (Urdu) is Darussalam's single-volume, award-winning Seerah book and one of our bestsellers — a good starting point before working up to the full encyclopedia.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does "Jadid Edition" mean here?

Jadid means "new" or "updated" in Urdu. This 6-volume set is Darussalam's revised, re-organized version of the Seerat Encyclopedia — the same subject matter as the original 11-volume set, restructured into six volumes.

Is this the same as the 11-volume Seerat Encyclopedia?

No. They're related but separate products with different volume counts and different prices. This listing is only for the 6-volume Jadid Edition. The 11-volume Complete Set is listed separately.

What language is the set in?

Urdu.

Can I order a single volume instead of the full set?

This listing is for the complete 6-volume set as one order. If you need something else, message us before ordering and we'll confirm what's available.

How long does delivery take?

Most orders arrive in 3–5 working days anywhere in Pakistan, with same-day dispatch from Lahore for orders placed before 1 PM.

Is this suitable as a gift?

Yes — hardcover sets like this are a common gift choice for weddings, Eid, or building up a family's Islamic library.
